This piece was initially conceptualized as a similar sketch in a drawing class I took my freshman year at CU Boulder. From that initial sketch, I began to reiterate it until I came to its final form. This piece uses stippling to show light and shadow. The tentacles of the jellyfish are expressions of movement and rhythm and show the slow float that jellyfish do on their journeys through the sea.
