I am Shannon Mulqueen and I'm a designer.  I graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Spring of 2017. Although my emphasis while at CU was in architecture, my passion for design reaches far beyond architecture.  

 

My approach to design has been to blur the lines between building and environment: to create a holistic project that allows for the natural elements of the landscape to breathe through buildings.  In order to achieve this, I have focused my attention to creating experiential spaces to engage in.  I strive to create sustainable, resilient design and responsive architecture that interacts with its landscape. Through this type of thinking, I feel design can be more interesting, beautiful, and compelling.
