PROJECT NARRATIVE
Jackson Street Custom Residence is a single-family house designed in the Belcaro Park neighborhood in Denver. The overall floor plan design divides the house into two primary forms, separated by the rear covered terrace. This division provides separation between the private quarters and the open floor plan intended for entertainment. The exterior of the home was designed to maintain the sweeping ranch home feel of the existing neighborhood and pay homage to the open, park-like feel of the neighborhood.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead designer throughout the conceptual design phases. Work primarily on floor plan layouts, overall building siting, and exterior elevations and material schemes. I also attended neighborhood HOA meeting to discuss the design with neighbors and get their input for maintaining the exterior aesthetic of the neighborhood. Worked on design details such as the open riser staircase, wet bar and wine cellar details, and built-in casework details. Worked through construction document phase and provided building department responses from the City of Denver.
